Sameer Mehta
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Technology and Operations Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
My research investigates the governance challenges and strategic dynamics that shape modern data markets. I use quantitative methods such as mechanism design, optimization, and cooperative and non-cooperative game theory to study the operational and economic questions that emerge in this domain.
Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I received my Ph.D. in Management Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and my M.Sc. (Integrated) in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor at Information Systems Research.
